I truly believe because of them that I am a better person, and it pains me knowing that I don’t think I ever made it clear to them how much of an influence they were to me. They will always have a special place in my heart.

I’m not making this post so that you feel pity, but as a reminder to never miss an oppertunity to tell the people you care about what they mean to you. My friend was one of the most intelligent people I knew - funny, well spoken, and hardworking.

Their family was very private; and because of this I found out about their passing because of a news article from their college. They passed about 2 weeks ago, and there is no mention of a burial place for me to pay my respects.
