We don’t need to copy the West. We just need to refine our voice and build on what already works. Don’t sneer, train. Don’t erase, elevate. It’s time to stop waiting for validation. Let’s bet on ourselves,on our continent. Overtaking is allowed. Tell African stories to Africans

King’ori is one of Africa’s most dangerous interviewers. And one of its most watched. When I knew I was finally doing pan-African interviews, his was the first show on my list. My full Africa-first thesis. Unapologetic. #OprahsFirstSon

Seyi Shay brought her utterly gorgeous daughter Issalove on our set — the first time she’s done that in an interview. I’m always honoured when our guests trust us with such personal, sacred moments. The sweetest moment. The loveliest little girl ❤️ Get ready. It’s intimate.

and you're recording your content at Ogun Waterside while working (real-life example from one of my fav creators today!) Don’t be fooled by those yelling loudest online. The African creator economy can be a real business for you.

The market doesn’t care about your ‘brand’. They’ll end up giving you ‘useless virality’ or, even worse, ignore you after you’ve borrowed and wasted money. The audience only cares about compelling content, even if your face is ashy,

I’ve been in this space since I was 15. I’ve seen people rise fast and crash hard as the creative economy has evolved. The ones who last? They reinvest. They evolve. They think in terms of net profit — not Instagram likes.

And remember: Many “popular” creators will be broke in 5 years. Why? Spending more than they earn. Mistaking popularity for sustainability. Prioritizing perception over profit. No moral judgement. But there’s no wealth in it either.

Instead of watching “digital socialites”, watch the data: The best niches right now? • Movies (for now) • Faith content • Sex & comedy (still holding) • Sports & travel • Live music & events • Crime, history, news, activism (don’t shoot the messenger)

- build: • Posting what you ate (low ROI) • Lifestyle content (oversaturated, expensive, monotonous) • Constantly chasing brand deals (unreliable) • Podcasting — unless you’d do it even if no one was watching (saturated, winners broadly limited to first and last movers)

don’t worry, you don’t need any of that. Like True Crime Daniel and EditorialBeauty356, you can just focus on building the content. In fact, without the distraction of a public brand, you’re more likely to win financially. Here's what not to waste energy on if you're trying to

You need: Something worth watching Discipline to avoid the unnecessary activities above Content you can make consistently without emotional burnout or financial stress So, if you are introverted, mission-focused, and don't like the drama of social media and public life,
