Sure the huge amount of money that the @NHSEngland pays, pays for the overseas service that we were promised when I started on the @myomnipod device?.

Why has this happened? And what can be done to improve it. Now I’m stranded in Mexico, with no working controller and I’m having to guess my bolus doses with a pre-filled pen that I’ve bought from a Mexican pharmacy.

So basically, I wouldn’t be able to give any boils insulin doses until the end of the week, which is just impossible. Why have I been promised a service that cannot be fulfilled? The @SalfordDiabetes spend THOUSANDS of £££ on this product and their promises cannot be fulfilled.

I called the @myomnipod helpline to get a replacement controller sent to me at my hotel, but I was told that they had to send it to a UK address and then my friends or family would have to forward it on to me!!.
