what is the reason aspiration needed to pay Kawhi while they were going bankrupt and laying off staff. Cuban acting like there was a rational reason to be paying Kawhi over keeping themselves afloat. The only explanation is that it had to on behalf of its investors
This is an informative article that discusses how Sanberg tried to use foreign celebrities, companies he controlled and unknown sources of cash. Important to note that KPMG, their auditor resigned, as did other accountants they hired. Also of note, I think Pablo reported

Mark Cuban is doing exactly what the people he criticizes about Trump do.
I got 100pct of this info from public articles. And you still haven't said what the clippers gained. They paid KL the home team max. More than anyone else could. By your logic his leverage was he would take millions less from another team So to keep him, the clippers

Mark Cuban simultaneously thinks Ballmer isnt dumb enough to make this mistake but dumb enough to put himself and his business in this situation while being scammed out of 10s of millions of dollars
Sanberg, a founder of Aspiration, in 2020, and then 2021, pre Clippers, borrows a total of $145m from a bank, using his Aspiration shares as collateral. The bank says that’s not enough. So he pays a guy $12.3m to go Madoff and falsify statements to make it look like he has 86m

the definition of skilled is really nebulous. there are obviously skills players in the 80s and 90s had that players today don't really develop. but of the big 3 skills (dribble - pass - shoot) 2 of them are far far far more advanced today.
Love Steph, but no. The 80’s and 90’s most skilled. It was complicated to score against those defenses and we did it with a great ability in regards to movement, post up skills and footwork.

Cooper Flagg's expectations are crazy, if he's Bobby Jones (that might be the historical comp) then people probably look at him like he under achieved

......LeBron James was 23 when he got swept in the finals. Michael Jordan was 23 when he got swept in the first round.
Robert Horry on the 2007 Finals: “LeBron wasn’t a jump shooter, just a big body that could get to the rim… it was the easiest scout ever, that’s why we swept him.” Could you imagine an opposing player saying this about Kobe or MJ ever? Nonetheless in the Finals?

it's obviously still a debate in a vacuum. in their current situations the answer is clearly SGA though, like whatever maybe Luka is better but SGA is the best player on the overwhelming favorite so he's the clear choise for 25-26
Zach Lowe: "Even now, after watching OKC win the chip, would you take Luka over SGA? A year ago, I would’ve taken Luka. Now, I don't think it’s an open-and-shut case, despite everything SGA just did. That's how good Luka is.” https://t.co/yEgLpWdYX8

🚨 Home Depot, What The Hell Is This?! 🛑 Has anyone ever heard of this before? This guy’s been building for 37 years. Lumber comes in standard lengths: 8 ft = 96 inches. That’s always been the deal. Period. So why the hell is Home Depot selling “2x4s” that are only 92 ⅝

there is a very real chance that Ryan Dunn is better than Jonathan Kuminga
In Jonathan Kuminga sign-and-trade negotiations between the Suns and Warriors, Ryan Dunn has been the hold up in any potential agreement. Phoenix is reluctant to include Dunn, who they believe can develop into an elite 3-and-D wing. Kuminga also prefers to play in Phoenix.

Scottie Pippen's back had less flexibility than a block of ice in this game, and the Jazz were double teaming him like he's Shaq. Scottie averaged 16ppg in this series and shot 41% ... he had to get surgery right after to repair 2 herniated discs. torture hoops.

it is genuinely adorable that you just have to get a camera moving to make people act like what they are watching is amazing. this is ultra simple basketball with a lot of extremely limited basketball players.
Cinematic quality first 3 minutes of the 1998 Game 6 NBA Finals. Look at all the amazing ball movement and sets. Basketball used to be such art 🔥

besides the fact that 6'8" Scottie Pippen can't run in this and is being guarded by Jeff Hornacek who is physically as big as i am and gets a dunk ... Karl Malone is jumping Center and he's essentially less mobile LeBron. in retrospect this Jazz team should not have been so good

why are people acting like Jonathan Kuminga is a player people should be excited about?
Listen this will take a while and there's no guarantees but I will say this, Johnathan Kuminga wants to be a member of the Phoenix Suns (badly) and the Phoenix Suns have been VERY interested for quite some time! Yes, folks players still view Phoenix as a PRIME destination! #TTTT
