Felt inclined to share a bit of my story as I believe some people need to hear this. As an athlete, it can be very easy to take for granted what God has gave us the ability to do and not capitalize on our days. Everyday can tend to feel the same if you are not grateful.

Can live so much more free. In these times, humanity is in a desperate need of sustainability and bringing deeper meaning to our life. So I would start in finding something that you believe in. Once you give your life a foundation to always rely on, you will succeed.

So be resilient through everything as everything is temporary. Time itself is temporary. For example I am already reaching my last 2 years of college football and it flew. Majority of us living have no true purpose and if you could just get some idea of what your purpose is, you

Before I got into the hospital, I would wake up every morning with a "same thing, different day " mindset which is a mindset that can get you beat. It taught me that everything is about perspective, no matter what you are experiencing, someone out there is going through worse.

I had attracted a sickness called Post- infectious encephalitis, a case where the body treats a normal cold like it's a virus and attacks its central nervous system. Pretty scary but I always knew I was going to be okay. The message I got from this was never get too comfortable.

On my 4th day in the hospital I had my first physical therapy where I realized that I really couldn't walk. This truly broke me as I had thoughts that maybe I wouldn't ever play football again let alone walk but my mind wasn't going to let these thoughts win. The whole time

When I woke up to pee the next morning I fell out of my hospital bed because I could not walk. After falling, I spent the next 2 days resting and on the second day I realized I had my family with me so I was happy to see them but couldn't really show much emotion, I was too sick.
