platforms instead is more about where choosing to spend my time and attention on platforms that aren't right wing propaganda machines. The only way to build something better is to spend our attention in better places.

I've been seeing a bunch of tweets from fellow artists saying things along the lines of "they are going to scrape your work from any platform anyway". I think we already know that. For me, removing my work from twitter and choosing to engage with other. .

About 4.5 years ago, about a year after my first leap into Fulltime independent, I decided to pick up a job-job again to have more stability in a precarious situation. It was meant to be short term but turned into nearly 5 years of working Fulltime and doing art on the side.

Remember how in math class there were homework problems that required you to show your work process? .Seems like a direction we may need to go for all future art and cover contests.
