1) Warning: Long 🧶
Moscow UAP/UFO. Since a few people including
@MickWest
think it could be a LED kite, others a balloon or debris (plastic bac, etc...), let's set the record straight and test all these hypothesis at once.
Out of all the maneuvers I have seen in what I consider to be some of the most anomalous UFO videos I have watched, the Pac-Man maneuver is my favorite one:
1. UFO/UAP News: "On the night of Oct 13 to 14, 2021, I photographed a UAP for 108 minutes in the direction of the Constellation of Orion. I have tried to rule out all optical or astronomical possibilities with the tools made available to amateur astronomers."
1) The argument that there are no clear photos of UFOs (therefore UFOs don't exist) is not only untrue, it's stupid. Why? There are plenty of clear UFO photos, the problem is elsewhere, it's very hard to demonstrate it was not a hoax in many cases (both pre/post digital era):
Ok, if this tweet gets more than 20 likes...I will show you 3 videos of an object or phenomenon that displays at least one of the observables (AATIP). I have a few more...who said there is never any good footage? 😉
1. Fact: I have a growing EO/IR database of rotary (VTOL) and fixed wing (VSTOL) UAS filmed in the VIS/SWIR/MWIR/LWIR. None of them look spherical heat signatures like what was filmed by the USS Omaha in the MWIR, why?
@dave_beaty
@DaveFalch
@JeremyCorbell
@LtTimMcMillan
The best UAP video ever filmed in Alaska to the best of my knowledge...Tim Printy (Sunlite) could not debunk it, nobody could, including me and I will challenge
@MickWest
and
@_scottbrando_
and
@hoaxeye
to give it a try...I will post it when this tweet reaches 50 likes.
As promised, the best daytime UFO video filmed from the cockpit of an airliner I have ever watched. I will explain later why exactly I think it is the best one and share with you some of my observations/conclusions.
@NARCAP1
Unknown biological entity recorded near Sagami, Japan by JAMSTEC back in 08 2010 at a depth of 1,023.5 m (3,353 ft). I sent the info to a specialized group but I guess they probably know about it. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to judge its dimensions.
On Jan 1st 2020, we were blessed with the best daytime UFO video I know ever filmed from the cockpit of an airliner. Would you guys wanna watch it and know about my conclusions?
This is as disingenuous and as sophist as it gets. In my world, when I use the words "quite plausible", it is because there is direct evidence to justify it, not because I speculate. At some point, people need 2 be aware of Mick's exaggerated and pompous claims.
#pseudoskepticism
Once again, the NYT anchors a UFO story with the "Gimbal" and "Gofast" videos. Both of which have quite plausible mundane explanations.
Their mystique is only maintained by mil secrecy and deference to a few recollections. Congress should demand the actual analysis, if any.
Shermer can't even get a simple fact right. Rubio and Shellenberger both said they directly talked to people who saw these things. Is he stupid or disingenuous or both?
So
@marcorubio
confirms what
@shellenberger
confirmed that they know people who know people who saw alien craft (or something they couldn't identify). At some point can we see some actual evidence instead of talking about people talking to people...?

Hey
@MickWest
, are you proud of your influence? One more scientist who believes the objects have been identified (implicitly) when it is not true. Why do you never correct people you misled with clickbait titles/strong claims in some articles and tell the truth for a change?
For example, the famous Tic Tac and Gimbal videos from military aviators. Both have been completely explained as ordinary sensor behaviors, but the stories got twisted in complex ways by other factors so people ignore the simple explanations and the myths won’t die. 2/3
1) 1 out of 3 videos filmed by independent witnesses near Moscow of the same event. Show it to people who own drones or play drone simulators, curious to hear their reactions.
There's one observable (as defined by Elizondo) in this video, guess which one...
Deceleration + transition to level flight. All that without any changes on any axis 👉 (See the stacking of the transition below). This is what unconventional flight characteristics look like and we should care because nothing can do that. Exit biologicals, drones/RC models.
A cooperative and hostile witness list will be given to her right after the hearings. I like how Grush does not waste any time. This sounds promising for the next Public Hearings hopefully.
1/2 As promised, here is a small glimpse of the 2010 Iranian UFO report given to the IRIAF. Seven pages out of more than 300 that is (I did not count the cover). This info was kindly provided in Dec 2017 by
@BabakTaghvaee
who used to work for the Iranian MOD.
@rosscoulthart
What happened yesterday in the US should be a giant slap in the face of UFO-skeptics and their conspiracy theory to explain why the USG is now all over UFOs just reached a new level. Slowly but surely they will join the ranks of climate-skeptics and are going to be marginalized.
Regardless if we always agree or not with
@MickWest
. Let's show him some love and respect by being vocal about this kind of sick behavior. Life is precious and too short for this shit.
A simple tip for newcomers in UFOlogy: It is easy to spot pseudo-skeptics vs methodological skeptics. Pseudo-skeptics want you to believe that the Nimitz encounters can be explained with radar malfunctions and a distant aircraft (Flir-1 video). Same with Gimbal (2015).
A few quick observations:
1. The object does not radiate heat, if it did, it would look dark/black like the dogs
2. The object does not look transparent like latex would in both LWIR/MWIR
3. The object does not become colder/warmer at times, it is related to camera settings 1/4
The amount of intellectual masturbation skeptics have to go through to try to annihilate the UAP subject + the fact that they are becoming some of the biggest conspiracy theorists is showing us the opposite, UAP should be taken seriously.
#doubleedgedsword
1. Sorry
@MickWest
but you misled Prof. Loeb when you interviewed him. You are NOT ALWAYS trying to explain UFO cases, you are also trying to cherry pick informations that will give the illusion that your predetermined hypothesis is confirmed. This is NOT the scientific method.
From DoD spokesperson Sue Gough on 3 UFOs shot down over North America last year:
"Those cases are still undergoing the declassification & public release process. Until that is complete I cannot comment on what will be released; nor can I say when the process will be completed"
People who claim that UFOs are all misidentifications and hoaxes often are self-proclaimed skeptics but they are in fact pseudo-skeptics as defined by Marcello Truzzi. He listed some characteristics to learn how to spot them:
I received a few DMs about the Mosul thingie. I don't comment on a still frame because there is a video and probably more context coming up. An image alone does not convey enough informations. It's tempting to already speculate and discard some hypothesis. Be cautious/patient.
I always refused to be interviewed until now because I thought it was necessary to send a message to NASA.
Hopefully they will be more cautious and rigorous in the future:
NASA panel 'neglected' wind data to claim GOFAST UFO 'drifted' in wind
So
@MickWest
, when
@EricRWeinstein
and yourself were debating about stigma, I think he was polite enough not to name you but you wrote this opinion piece on USA Today, not on Metabunk or some UFO forum. You need to be exposed because you generate stigma on the UFO subject.
I don't know if it's bias or if people don't read but many people did not understand NASA's UAP study. I mean, they explained it in 2 sentences at the most. NASA will not study UAP but will focus on how to study UAP. So don't expect any conclusions about UAP. Methodology first.
If I get more than 50 likes...I will show you 3 reasons why the Flir-1 video does not show an acft just on focusing on the video alone. I will post my analysis in the comments but the goal is to have fighter pilots look at it..and give their feedback...
1) I usually never investigate UFO cases with ground traces/landing sites and even less with "occupants" but there's almost an exception, almost because I did NOT investigate them but as I will show you, there might be some similarities between
People who claim that there isn't a single unambiguous UFO video and/or that displays out of the ordinary flight characteristics 👉
@EricRWeinstein

@MickWest
need to be shown videos that they will have to explain. I am here to challenge their claim with more than 1 video.
Skeptics say all-sky camera networks should capture UFOs...they do sometimes...
UFO captured by an all-sky camera in Japan, more info in the comments and in the description of the video in YT:
Please name one UFO-skeptic that criticized Bill Nelson's inaccurate/incomplete statement about David Grush during NASA's Presser? Good luck! Skepticism/critical thinking = pseudo-skepticism when it is a one-way street.
Up in the mountains, no light pollution, the Milky Way is so btfl. I am one of the happiest men on Earth because I don't need more to be happy. Sending ❤ and good vibes to ya'll.
The scientific community failed to isolate the phenomenon. To isolate is to filter out IFOs and explain/prove/demonstrate why some UFOs display out of the ordinary flight characteristics. This will be seen as the biggest scientific failure in human history imo.

You know what baffles me about the 2015 Gimbal/GoFast encounters? After all these interviews, we still don't know if the CSG (Hawkeye as well) tracked the suckers? Please correct me if I am wrong but these questions are not a detail.
Rare enough to RT. In Japan, the legend says that oarfish live under the islands of Japan. They come to the surface to warn people about a coming earthquake.
IFO News: I have to RT again because many folks still cannot ID sky tracers. We ain't in 1942 anymore, technology evolved and if the air is relatively dry/few aerosols, you will only see them hit the clouds.

As much as I agree that a glare is partially or fully obstructing the heat signature. Mick's claim (almost certainly a distant jet) is based on NO UNDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE. He made the same claim in a USA Today article for Flir-1. This is pseudo-skepticism at its finest.
I'm glad there will be some focus on the Gimbal video in the upcoming 60-minutes show. It's almost certainly the rotating glare of a distant jet. Graves does not know about this, and Elizondo was entirely unfamiliar with it when I interviewed him.
Is it just me or Neil D.G Tyson did not react at all yet about what is going on with NASA? He must be thinking pretty hard about the best angle of approach that won't make him look bad lol.
1/ As promised, the best UAP video from Alaska I have ever watched. Please read the description in the YT video. FF to 1:03 for the split/drop, 2:33 for the 2nd one, 3:21 for the last "funky" move. My advice, watch these segments frame per frame.
Today's statement about wind speeds during NASA Briefing on UAP is based on thin air. Like TheCholla explained, he did not take into account wind speed/direction at FL250 where the acft was. This affects the results of the analysis. On top of that, he did not show
@aboss
@MvonRen
Yes it felt like being back in 2018 with the geometry schematics on Metabunk.
This is without considering how a 120-Kts wind affects the F-18 trajectory.
If the range is correct the object is at ~13K ft.
But more ~100Kts than 35Kts.
So we have a paradox, they were able to see if there were weapons stored below the wings (and personnel lol) or not but they were not able to ID the exact type of drone. Sorry, I don't buy that, they have catalogs of EVERYTHING that flies, floats and is submerged for visual ID.
UFO News: Only a handful of people are partially privy of my investigation and in-depth analysis of this case/IR video. I decided to release it in the next few days. Status: Unidentified
I feel sorry if you don't think the report is a major step forward. You might be subject to cognitive dissonance or limited analytical skills, or both at the same time.
The more I see how UFO-skeptics respond/react to what is happening, the more I think there must be something really going on that truely bothers them. And it is not UFOs imo. Probably their ego...because they are slowly but surely becoming marginalized.
3) the careers inside or outside the USN/USG of people involved. This is why I am upset and also why we should not tolerate such actions. Please RT this, it's important. "The only possible explanation" simply is an unproven claim/statement.
It was not debunked and this is either the best hoax I have ever seen or some of the most interesting videos I know about. A shame I don't know anyone near Ensenada (Baja California) who would be willing to go there to try to find other witnesses.
1. This is a spherical object reflecting direct sunlight filmed before the digital era vs what it would look if blurry. So please
@mickwest
, do everyone a favor, stop claiming all UFO videos are blurry. Now, feel free to use your crystal ball to say if it looks ET or not.
This tweet is to show love to the people in
#ufotwitter
. There sure is some good people in here, no need to waste time with negative people. To the cool ones, we know who you are.
Please name one debunker who has a good understanding of all the military technologies involved in the USN incidents. Just one...if you can't, now ask yourself, why in the world some newsmedia consider some of them to be experts? Experts in what?
Kirkpatrick chose cautiousness over sensationalism or simply saying hey "we got something". People have to read between the lines to see his strategy. Round/anomalous objects (if true) flying at supersonic speeds with no visible propulsion system sure do not sound mundane.
The prediction here is that if this was a passing plane, the flashing sequence should be compatible with the hypothesis. Mick never tested the hypothesis. Proposing an hypothesis and not testing it goes against the scientific method.
#falsifiability
Loeb is self-deluding or a scammer. Harvard doesn't seem to police itself. John Mack (psychiatrist, recovered memories of abductees) was a honcho at Harvard.
I see mostly people from the U.S, UK, Canada, Australia, France and Germany in UFO Twitter. The language barrier is still a problem imo. The UFO world is still divided, which is a pity, I want to hear from people around the globe.
I will start investigating UFOs again when the
@GalileoProject1
and UAPX will release their hard data. Why? Because my instinct tells me it will NOT be a waste of time and both will have enough meat around the bone so to speak...
1) So far we know that the USN "showed us" some stars (credit
@MickWest
), an airliner and a navigation light. None of the other videos/photos unambiguously show anything we could ID as UAS and they haven't disclosed one shred of evidence to support their conclusions.
4) So not only they failed to ID (exact type of UAS) the UAS a few nautical miles from the U.S., they also failed to know where they came from, who operated them and where did they leave to. In my book, this is either a total failure or we are being fed horseshit (or both?).

👀 1. Upscaled Calvine UAP photo reveals interesting details. This craft has some kind of build-up on its hull. Almost like the underwater side of an old rusty boat with algae and shit growing on the fuselage. Just saying, it doesn’t look like someone’s BP
Thinking about posting a very recent case tomight I and a few others investigated with multiple witnesses and videos showing multiple objects doing extraordinary maneuvers. Are you guys interested? It also happened not too far from the 2004 Nimitz encounters...
I am a hardcore flight and combat flight simmer, NOT a fighter pilot. I never ever tracked the wrong target (Radar/EO/IR) but fighter pilots and Navy crews ALWAYS tracked the wrong targets according to pseudo-skeptics. Flir-1, Gimbal, USS Omaha.
2. I'm exploring a few avenues to try to answer that question based strictly on data visualization & comparisons but my conclusion for the USS Omaha event is that what we see in that video is NOT an electric powered UAS because I haven't found any match (signature) to this day
Mick's reaction when I ask him for evidence to support his hypothesis for the 3 Navy videos. He is asking me for examples when he knows damn well what evidence would mean. Asking a question is also a way to deflect answering my question. He has zero evidence, not a shread.
@ChrisSPITZER7
@Daniel_Loxton
The videos themselves, and other public data, are the evidence. I just analyzed them and showed what they were consistent with (i.e. Gimbal looks like a rotating glare hiding a hot object)
What do you want as evidence, a quantum core in a bottle? Give examples.
Most believers/non-pseudo-skeptics: We want the mainstream scientific community to actually get involved in UAP studies and be pro-active
Most pseudo-skeptics/debunkers: We can explain most of this shit, we replace science, no need to waste money on this folklore/modern myth
Dave confirmed what I knew. He has been using such systems on a daily basis for more than 15 years. This already means AARO is full of it when they claim it is airliners 300 miles away à la West.
I warned people about false negatives (wrong identifications) vs AARO.
This is it.
My rant about pseudo-skpticism is nowhere near ready to stop. The main reason is that by proposing doubtful explanations, we stop asking questions and this is by far the most anti-scientific stand. Worse than the bs proposed by fantasy prone personality people and grifters.
1. I wouldn't compare a lone Chilean Navy helicopter with a USN Carrier Strike Group/best IC in the World. Some of the non-military people who solved this case (including me) worked on all the USN videos as well and guess what, we failed to ID the suckers, so, to the contrary
(1/3) A cautionary tale
In 2014, "highly trained" Navy pilots saw and videoed a UFO. The government's UFO investigation department and many experts studied it for two years, could not figure it out, and declared it a genuine UFO
@lesliekean
lauded it as "exceptional" in Jan 2017
@michaelshermer
@jamescfox
Talking about evidence, since you have been studying UFOs since 1992, where can I find your peer-reviewed papers about UFOs?
GoFast: The main reason why a simple balloon never was my

hypothesis based on the video ALONE is a simple observation. No tumbling on any axis. Tracking a balloon with a camera will not magically cancel tumbling. Tumbling affects aspect ratio for any shape 1/10
