We just published an article decomposing human EEG alpha activity into periodic (oscillatory) and aperiodic (1/f) activity. It turns out that aperiodic alpha amplitude increases over time on taks while periodic activity is modulated by tACS: .

My post-doc, Sreekari Vogeti, investigated whether near-threshold auditory perception is modulated by alpha or delta transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), or positive and negative direct current:.

Temporal interference stimulation (TIS).My PhD student Jill von Conta just published an article on recording EEG during TIS. It is important to use an amplifier with wide dynamic range (e.g. 24 bit) and to avoid non-linearities:.
