I don’t think we talk enough about how disorienting it is to have your sense of seasonality disrupted like this. Also still boggles my mind to think my kids and I will always have different ideas of what a “normal” winter is.

I just realized…as an elder millennial I’ve voted for four different presidential candidates. Of the four, half are Black. Half are women. I don’t think we appreciate that sort of progress enough. Even if there’s still work to be done.
