There's a special place in hell for the people who reupload obscure films to youtube but exclusively with 4k 60fps upscaling that makes it look like this

... Oh fuck I just realized. This is just Capcom building up to a remake of the original Resident Evil, which already had a remake that was already perfect!
Capcom's upcoming, unannounced Resident Evil Zero remake will reportedly be released in 2028 and feature the lead actor from Square Enix's Guardians of the Galaxy video game. https://t.co/267MibB21K

Keeping in mind Adam Driver said he was done with Star Wars too. This was the one thing that was about to bring him back. ... They should have done it. You're resurrecting the last Skywalker here I'd eat up that offer if I was desperate Disney.
Adam Driver reveals that he was developing a new #StarWars film titled ‘THE HUNT FOR BEN SOLO’ • It was set after ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ • Scott Z. Burns was brought in to write a script. • He spent 2 years developing it with Steven Soderbergh. • Lucasfilm loved the idea

Replaying Xenoblade Chronicles and it's been years since I first played it on the Wii. I really wish I could experience this moment for the first time again I was shocked.

Finished Resident Evil 2 remake for the first time, it's definitely not as good as the original and this is made really clear when you get to a more condensed lab area, but I still had a lot of fun it was a good time. 😁

20 years ago today, Shadow of the Colossus was released for the PS2. Developed by Team Ico, it really is a true masterpiece of a video game.

Losing scale is my biggest gripe with behind the protagonist camera perspective. Semi-fixed is the best compromise IMO. Occasionally, mix in some fixed points to emphasize scale or highlight areas of interest. The player shouldn't be expected to handle all the cinematography.
it's kinda funny how, despite modern gaming being OBSESSED with being seen as "cinematic", the industry still treats the fixed camera format, which is the only one capable of recreating the actual look and feel of deliberate cinematography, as some ancient unspeakable taboo
