The @RJAH_NHS is home to the largest provider of veterans hospital care in the country. Due to changes in the rules, the Veterans Centre does not always receive the payments due from other regions. I asked the Prime Minister to visit and see for himself this work.

The Adult Inpatient Survey 2023 has been published today, and we are proud to have once again been listed - alongside just eight other providers out of 135 participating Trusts - as performing "much better than expected".

We are delighted to have signalled our continued support for staff and patients who serve in military roles – by re-signing the Armed Forces Covenant. The Covenant represents a pledge of support to people who are serving in, or who have served in the Armed Forces.

It was a real honour to attend this and celebrate some incredible colleagues who have given so much to the NHS!
