These are fab. I've heard a lot about this Tate Modern place and might be tempted to go and see what this 'art' business is all about.

It was a tumultuous decade characterised by street riots, financial excess and big-haired bands making big-budget videos. As a major exhibition of shots from the 1980s prepares to open, we talk to...

Good to see my interview with photographer Ricky Flores hitting the streets a week before the US election, when affronted Puerto Ricans in Pennsylvania may yet help consign the Hallowe'en Trumpkin to the compost bin.

Inevitably, I wrote this one up with Ken Dodd warbling in my head. Under the circumstances, I'm not sure he'd have been terribly tickled. https://t.co/TmQmTF3GNn

The first of a couple of interviews I've done with former winners of Wildlife Photographer of the Year. I didn't anticipate quite how many of the comments underneath would be readers debating which species of predatory animal they'd sooner be killed by. https://t.co/oZvu7FxzJP

Both Gallagher brothers came up in these interviews, but they're getting no column inches on MY watch. NB: Mr Dorff isn't interested in talking about the horror film he made as a kid. "Every time I see Tarantino, he'll be like, 'The Gate!' And I'll be like, 'For fuck's sake...'"

Hey, @Lindymorrison8, my daughter Kitten is in the middle of playing 16 Lovers Lane on crackly vinyl in its entirety on her 4zzz show as part of a celebration of Brisbane acts. Realise it's pretty late, but listen back tomorrow if you feel inclined. xX https://t.co/n1HQ7P1czr

I made a tiny contribution to this Guardian article, talking about the time my then seven-year-old decided she wanted to watch Fritz Lang's Metropolis. Also reiterates the importance of keeping music on the school curriculum. https://t.co/evaaZPZHEB

I chatted to Steven L. Sears and Renee O'Connor about the making of Xena: Warrior Princess. I don't think this is the headline any of us anticipated. https://t.co/sk8aJUTtd6

‘The studio was hesitant about suggesting Xena and Gabrielle were in a romantic relationship. But as time went on, they decided to look the other way and just let us get on with it’

Rest well Jeannette Charles, who has died at 96, the same age as her well-known lookalike. Here's a photo of me visiting Jeannette at home to interview her just before the other queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Rain fails to stop play at Hastings Jack in the Green, though spending some of the day inside a giant means I managed to stay drier than most. Dropped my phone in the mud shortly after filming this - it was returned via the onstage MC within 10 minutes. 10/10, as usual.
