Of all post-punk albums I've loved, this was my biggest inspiration for 2nd album 'Neon Gods'. For me, Simple Minds 'New Gold Dream' sounds fresh as ever. I don't know if I even came close to it, but I hope I've at least echoed just a hint of its magic.
