Please don't play culture card .This food is too poor and basic, the diet is not balance. Protein is very important and missing. That food would be better with beans .I can excuse lack of vegetables..

I agree with you totally. Whatever the author put up there is nothing but undue grandstanding. People eat "worst meals" than this just for survival, but you'd still see them on Twitter condemning what's way better than what they consume in the corners of their rooms. Yam with oil
