This page says that JMA SC1s, which I used on this lock, are a bit thinner, so that explains why the SC1 blank I tried went in but the SC1 Lishi didn’t (or would really have to be forced)

(The rest of the house is on KW1 so I’m not going to bother rekeying the SC1 garage locks, but would like to at least be able to provide the next tenant or new owner with a key to the garage locks.)

Just looking for general information if anyone has any. The SC1 went in almost all the way, but not ALL the way to the shoulder. The SC1 Lishi would have maybe gone in if I forced it, but I didn’t think that would be smart, so that’s why I’m going to try again with an SC20 Lishi.

Never did anything w/ garage locks but hoping to make a key to this. SC1 blank fits in here but SC1 Lishi did not; gonna go back w/ SC20 & try again. Also, SC1 blank doesn’t seem to go in all the way to the shoulder. Anyone have experience w/ these locks? (179 code isn’t useful)
