China has supported Malawi’s health sector since 2008 through sustained medical assistance, capacity building and professional training.

The donation comprises 42 categories of medical equipment, including electrocardiographs and fetal Doppler detectors, valued at 241,478 yuan (approximately 144 million kwacha). The equipment is expected to significantly enhance diagnostic and treatment capacity at KCH.
