A(nother) fantastic visit to Taunton for our club yesterday, as 13 of our junior section were flag bearers for the @SomersetCCC vs Lancashire ODC game!. Huge thanks to @SomCricketFDN for the invite and an unforgettable day for our youngsters!

There was a fantastic win for our 1st XI on Saturday, after Tom Webb (62*) and Tim Fussell (94) shared a 162 partnership to vanquish Chew Valley (artist impression court. Martin Blackmore 🎨). The 2s were unlucky to lose to Midsomer N'n after a cracking 95* from James Purchase.

A painful, dramatic last ball defeat for our 2s this week, after a fine 50 from Dan Rogers helped set a competitive total. And battling runs from Adam Marshall (33), Devon Baker (27) and Brad Hancock (23) made a good game of it for the Sundays against undefeated table toppers.

This week brought the curtain down on our junior matches for the season, featuring a win for our U15s. 🥳. Skipper Zak Gloudemans ended up the Orange 🟠 Cap wearer with 365 runs, while Cory Hawkins led the wicket-taking with 12 wickets to claim the Purple 🟣 Cap. Played, lads!

Fantastic win for our 2s over Old Park on Saturday, with Gareth and Miles sharing a 100+ run eighth-wicket partnership to knock off the total! 🍻. There was a painful loss for the 1s who were defeated on the last ball of the game by Bristol Uni Staff, while Sunday was washed out.
