Chief Constable Jon Boutcher presented long service awards to 53 officers and staff at this afternoon’s ceremony @PoliceCollegeNI. Thank you and congratulations to everyone who has dedicated their careers to serving local communities and keeping people safe.

Many of the victims who speak to us about their experiences tell us that telling their story to make the criminal justice system better is important to them and gives them agency.

During #InternationalControlRoomWeek we want to pay tribute to our Contact Management Centre staff. In the past year they received 686, 549 calls 36,152 of which were 999 calls. They also received 36,766 non-emergency incidents using our online reporting function.

.@Justice_NI was represented @TheIACP Conference, Denver by Safer Communities Director Mark Goodfellow who was presenting on the evolution of DoJ since devolution. The event provides an opportunity to hear about policing developments which will assist building safer communities.

Our recent REaL (Reference, Engagement and Listening) event focused on the victim journey. It was a valuable opportunity for partners, support services and advocacy groups to help shape our ongoing work to strengthen victim and community confidence across all areas of policing.
