1/3 male nurses especially older ones where I am currently treat patients, do surgeries and own clinics as doctors. Health assistants too. This is the reality and it is dangerous.

Your later point is noted,but it's the other health-workers that ought to adopt another name not the original professional-the medical doctors.
The weight of the madness I've seen today alone makes me think @nard_nigeria were right in raising concerns about patient safety with the use of the tag "consultant" In fact, if other professions adopt the term, I think it's only right that consultants adopt a new term.

This is so disgusting to watch A Nurse is never a “doctor” unless you have done your PhD program, then you can use that prefix, and even so you are not a “MEDICAL DOCTOR” Do not call yourself a doctor if you have BNSc (bachelor in nursing science) It’s fraud 🙏
