@ChickenMan3010 Agreed! Well said Mr Boggs. I’ve always thought that. I also thought he got the brunt of the WS loss when realistically it was the managing that caused the loss - not 1 play. The ovation that Buckner got in 2008 at Fenway was way over due and therapeutic for everyone. #RIP

@ChickenMan3010 I know you and George Brett are friends. I believe George loved watching Bill play, so much that when the Cubs were playing a day game, George broke a toe trying to get back to the tv to see Bill bat & missed some time. Pretty sure I remember that right.
