It seems to me that a hybrid HRM+CoT reasoning model might be super powerful. HRM = Hierarchical Reasoning Model. CoT = Chain of Thought . Actually, what I think I could do is use a reasoning model and a non-reasoning model in parallel to perform planning and reasoning in.

Day 47. TONS of progress on the course today. Even though I didn't have nearly as much time to work on it. Had some things to take care of in real life today. :). But the code for delivering the course in Koubou is probably 90% done now. I'm starting on adding the material into.

This is accurate. For the most part… the average user probably will barely notice an improvement in GPT-5. Might be a bit easier to get quality results even with less-effort prompts. But if it is more reliable at tool calling, faster, and perhaps low-cost per token then it.
We likely won't see jaw-dropping improvements in intelligence in future models. How could we? They are already crushing most benchmarks. I suspect they'll keep getting better in more subtle ways like tool calling, adherence to instructions, creativity, etc. They'll get.

Day 46. An interesting day. First, I deleted all the code I had created for the course delivery in Koubou. I ran into a corner I didn't want to code my way out of. Faster to just start from scratch do it a different way. That's okay. It was worth the experiment. ---. Here on X.

Day 45. Another productive day. I finished a LOT of the code for the upcoming course “Start Here: Prompt Engineering for Everyone”. This is the code that will deliver the course in Koubou. Pretty cool stuff. Each lesson will have a custom trained AI tutor build right in.
