Every day, administrators are grateful for the opportunity to lead and inspire the next generation. But today especially, we pause to reflect on just how thankful we are for the communities, schools, and young people we serve.

180 years ago, in 1845, the first public school was built in Chicago on Madison Street (between State and Dearborn). By 1857, there were ten Public Schools in Chicago. Today, there are over 600 public schools in Chicago. That's something to celebrate. #aew2025
