I'm pleased to share the launch of The Alliance, a new platform launched by the Office of Military Affairs to advance the #WomenPeaceSecurity agenda in @UN Peacekeeping. The virtual event brought 100+ peacekeepers together to strengthen coordination & knowledge-sharing.

.@UN Peacekeeping chief @Lacroix_UN just returned from a visit to the #DRC 🇨🇩 where he met with officials and civil society organizations. He reiterated the support of @MONUSCO to the government's efforts to protect civilians and to promote social cohesion between communities.

It was a privilege to be in #DRC with our troops, @MONUSCO leadership & Congolese officials to engage on security challenges in the east. It was a crucial moment to reaffirm our forces’ commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts needed to move the country toward lasting peace

UNIFIL peacekeepers and @LebarmyOfficial personnel carried out trainings together in Kawkaba and Naqoura, south Lebanon.   Such activities support LAF redeployment in south Lebanon, enhancing coordination and interoperability in support of peace in line with Resolution 1701.

I was pleased to host @JeanineHennis at @UNIFIL_ in Naqoura today. We discussed the current situation and efforts to restore lasting stability in the region. UNIFIL continues supporting the implementation of UNSCR 1701, and full @LebarmyOfficial deployment in southern Lebanon.
