If ever you needed a front page that captured the crass yet also dangerous silliness of so much of our media, and the impact of a right wing nationalism that has done so much harm through history from which we don’t seem to learn …

Borders, no borders: A Reform UK cell surprisingly running the **pro-EU** campaign of the PM of Montenegro, amid reports of him meeting with George Cottrell, who lives in Montenegro, and debate about Cottrell's political services. 🔗 to Montenegro news: https://t.co/PFNEavZiex
Several people behind anti-EU Reform (strategists, fundraisers, even a cameraman!) working for the Prime Minister of Montenegro who wants the country to JOIN the EU, and where, erm, George Cottrell lives and has businesses. Move along, nothing to see... https://t.co/PFNEavZiex

BREAKING NEWS: There were way too many decent people in Gorton and Denton to elect white supremacist, racist arsehole, far right candidate Matt Goodwin as their MP. Decency is alive and well.

Parliament to Debate PM's new law against lying in politics for first time Baroness Jenny Jones will question why the new Misleading the Public offence will apply to the Government but not to the Opposition. https://t.co/xznCkHaqjj

No surprise there. She really is a bully who seems to thrive on hurting and belittling people. Just look at her expression whenever she says these things, especially during PMQs. The more brutal she is and the more her colleagues cheer, the happier she looks. It is honestly so
‘Do not feel sorry for Labour MPs.’ Kemi Badenoch explains why she will ‘absolutely not apologise’ for her ‘paedo defender’ jibe towards the government.

When you’re watching #DirtyBusiness, remember that these are REAL stories, REAL lives, REAL families that have been devastated by the greed of “our” water companies. It’s a national outrage and they must be held to account #sewagescandal

A new public fountain has appeared in central London, but look closer & you’ll see that it’s a actually a fountain of filth. The water is black, the human victims of the sewage crisis are vomitting streams of liquid, whilst surmounted by a smug water executive with a briefcase

The British press happily took the anti-Antonia Romeo brief over the last few weeks from an array of men including by Simon McDonald and some darker forces. The press wanted to believe that AR was a ‘bully’ - & that her New York Tweets were “an issue” - so they lapped it all

Yes, there are bad women. And there are women who provide cover for other bad people. But, let’s be honest, almost all of the greatest evils, throughout the entirety of human history, have been perpetrated by men.

Vital to mention @JenniferNadel and Compassion in Politics who didn't get a mention in this story but without them there would be no amendment 13-18 at all! https://t.co/474a1KWT8Q

@RossKempsell Well, no. There is no must. We are a sovereign nation. If Mr Starmer and his Cabinet decide that is the best thing to do, they will do it, if not, not.

In Olden Days™, a British [ex] politician, travelling to another country and whispering in the ear of a foreign dictator would be called … treason. But now, this treacherous snake is broadcasting his malign influence for all to see. Like the deal or not, this is shocking.
President Trump is absolutely right to tell Starmer to abandon the terrible #chagos deal with Mauritius. @POTUS understands how strategically important the airbase at Diego Garcia is. It is a bad deal that would cost UK taxpayers £34.7 billion. There was never any legal reason

I can see the usual suspects (@ArchRose90 @darrengrimes etc) claiming "Nigel did the right thing" by responding the way he did to @FT @AnnaSophieGross. Maybe they don't like the FT. But how about @CamillaTominey from @GBNEWS receiving similar response? 🤔
@FT @AnnaSophieGross asks @ZiaYusufUK question about "UK" ICE" and @SuellaBraverman about state schools. @Nigel_Farage doesn't allow either to respond and dismisses, in a Trump-style patronising way, the questions in their entirety. This tells a lot about Farage and his project.

@BBCPolitics how dare you disrespect our intelligence so much as to publish the “Reform shadow cabinet”?First of all the official opposition are The Conservatives secondly there isn’t a general election for over 3 YEARS. If someone doesn’t answer this I will write to the DG.

For all those praising Farage, he has just wasted £64 million of taxpayers money that could have been spent on services in struggling parts of the country he claims to care so much about.
