Thanks for calling. We do our best to keep you safe. If you’re mad there’s no snow, please hang up & call Mother Nature. If you’re wondering “school tmrw?” please hang up & call Doc Brown. If you’re bored, do homework, eat some milk & bread & make the best of today.

So we’re here again. You asking me the same questions with the same misspellings. You telling me Cobb’s closed, there’s ice, it’s cold. And me with the same answer: do your homework. If a decision is made, you’ll be the first 21K on Twitter to know. Scout’s honor.
#SafeCherokee
I can’t believe I already need to tell you again: Don’t cuss (👀 you being sneaky). Don’t pick fights (kids AND parents). Asking me “skool tomorow?” every 5 minutes is as ineffective as “Are we there yet?” Do your homework. When I know the decision, I’ll tell you.

If you think I’m happy about this situation, think again. While we wait, please stay calm, do your homework, eat a milk sandwich and keep your %#*+¥€]>! language to yourself. And I thank you.

The CCSD & Creekview family has suffered a terrible loss with today’s passing of senior Stephen Smith: an outstanding student athlete and a friend to all. Several other students were seriously injured & they are in our prayers. Counselors will be at CVHS ready to help.

(do better than ALL CAPS, SpOnGeBoB, virtual snow) & do your homework - we’re not making any more calls tonight. If I don’t roast you, it’s not that I don’t love you... I’m just playing Fortnite.
#SafeCherokee
Hey kids, Please know that while I care a lot about you, I’m still not your mom or dad. If your driveway is snowy or you don’t have power, they can decide what to do. Love, CCSD
#SafeCherokee
P.S. Do your homework. And don’t cuss. See you tomorrow.
2/2 Superintendent is speaking with the School Board about road conditions at its meeting now. Fifty roads & five campuses still of concern. Also, a decision on whether January days will be made up by students will not be made tonight given that tomorrow’s opening is in question.
We’re working with our community safety partners to check conditions throughout the county - including the accessibility of all our school campuses - in order to make a decision about opening school on Monday. That decision may not be made until tonight.

Hey, kids (and some parents): No cussing and no calling people names. You’re better than that. And Twitter jail has a seat for you if you can’t chill.

Reminder: I know the resemblance is uncanny, but I’m not your mom or dad. If there’s ice in your driveway (or formerly in the cup you just emptied into said driveway) & you’re worried, please talk to them. No one wants you hurt. And please, no more videos trying.
#SafeCherokee
All Cherokee County School District campuses are now clear, with all students delivered safely or picked up by parents. We greatly appreciate our outstanding bus drivers for the job the do every day, and especially in inclement weather.

! The petition to cancel school is a trick (and, ahem, unauthorized logo use), as are attempts to charge you to sign it. Enjoy some real treats tonight, but don't stay up too late, because school is on. And we know it will be cold tomorrow; wear a coat.
