Cheney is our softball team of the week! Cheney was absolutely dominant this week. They went 5-0, with their closest game being a 11-3 victory over Trinity Catholic. They also added sweeps over Halstead and Trinity Academy.

Best team in the state 🤩
It's Cheney who puts on a dominant performance, blowing out Halstead rather easily in both games. Neither game went longer than 5 innings, and the Cardinals remain undefeated, currently sitting atop of their regional.

The Dragons will take on the Cardinals in our softball game of the week. It's a monster CKL-CPL matchup late in the season, with massive implications for both teams. Cheney is still undefeated, while Halstead is 8-3 and trying to earn the one seed in their regional.

Defending 3A State Champions, Cheney improves to 7-0 on the season after a sweep of Douglass 17-1 (5) and 17-10. The Cards his five home runs on the night, including two from Senior Brooklyn Wewe. Junior Elina Bartlett, Seniors Korri Lies and Lexi Lorenz each added had one.
