At the (excellent) Dream Theater show tonight I saw 5 or 6 other guys in Rush shirts and fist-bumped all of them. Each one was stoked and happy to see so many other fans excited for next year. So was I. This band just means something to me, man.

To be clear, I do kind of wish they'd have billed themselves as something else. But what would that have even been? "An evening with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush" is too unwieldy, and anything else would've just sounded like a cover band. The fact is, Rush existed before
