Congratulations to Christian Simmons & Hannah Shea who have both advanced as semifinalists in the prestigious MetOpera Eric and Dominique Laffont competition. These talented young singers joined us last Dec for Handel's Messiah & now they will take the Met Opera stage on April 17

Late last year the Chattanooga Symphony lost a dear friend & longtime supporter. Sonia Young was a fierce advocate for the arts & a special friend to the symphony. She will be missed by all. Our March Opera Extravaganza will be dedicated to her life, legacy, & impact on the CSO
