In other news we have a dog. He's called Eddy and he's a Patterdale Terrier. Super friendly with a lovely nature. Rescued from a friend's father who had 2 brothers who were constantly having fights so now both dogs are happy. #winwin.#tetfordlonghorns

Over last winter this pipe collapsed due to the combined weight of pipe & water. Plastic brackets are not strong enough so I've replaced with our modified top mounting gutter brackets (pic 4) All we need now is some rain to test it's working! #tetfordlonghorns

6 y/o Tetford Angelica a Fishwick Prosperity daughter o/o Tetford Rue had an unassisted calving around 11.15am today. It's a bull calf by Tetford Zack. That concludes calving for 2025 & although late in year she's 10 days earlier than last year. #tetfordlonghorns #easycalving

On Saturday 21st June I turned out Tetford Beech and her calf Tetford Guelder Rose who was born on 8th. She was 3 days before she'd learnt to suckle her mum so delayed turnout to be sure she was ok. They soon settled in with the others. #tetfordlonghorns

Beech's calf is a heifer. It's up but not sucked yet. Mum has cleansed & I've iodined calf's navel. Beech last calved 22nd July 2024 so must have held to service 29th Aug. A true #regularbreeder I'll pop its @allflexuk #TST tag in later too. My year letter is G so Guelder Rose
