Bishops Hull Cricket Club near Taunton has confirmed one of their players died this morning. I know the Somerset cricket family will be incredibly supportive, my thoughts go out to everyone impacted by this awful tragedy.
CLUB STATEMENT. Today we learnt of the death of our dear friend and team mate, Barnaby Webber. Barney was attacked at the early hours of this morning walking home with a friend after a night out on 13/06/2023 and had lost his life. (1/3)

Beautiful, heartbreaking words from Barnaby Webberโs mum, Emma. Sheโs a regular guest on BBC Radio Somerset through her work in local arts and itโs incredibly sad to see the pain she and her family are going through.
