Very concerning half. Beyond a couple of players (Bilal, Fatawu), we’ve lacked any kind of passion, energy or tenacity. And in the moments we’ve dominated possession, there’s been an absence of creativity or cutting edge. Only one team collectively up for the fight so far #LCFC.

Based on the Fiorentina game, seems to be a 4-3-3 with Soumaré the anchor and Skipp/Bilal the two eights. Would’ve preferred to see Nelson over Vestergaard but can understand concerns over two relatively inexperienced CBs playing together. Hoping for another Abdul show! #LCFC.

Leicester City’s season starts here. It’s great to see both the new manager and captain taking to social media to send messages of passion and unity to the fans. Off-field incompetence has created a mountain, but our on-pitch leadership finally now looks up for the climb #LCFC.

Really solid performance. Players looked fit, enthusiastic, and tenacious. Great pressing from the front and a clear emphasis on moving the ball quickly. Fatawu at his electric best. Okoli commanding from the back. El Khannouss a cut above in class. Good day at the office #LCFC.

I’d expect Ricardo and Fatawu to both start once fully fit. Mavididi will rival Monga and likely rotate frequently throughout the season. Alves could become a starter if El Khannouss is sold, although Martí could equally start Daka (or a new ST) and move Ayew into the hole #LCFC.

A good move all round. Coady gets a global platform in ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ to continue his transition into media work ahead of a post-playing career. Leicester get huge wages off the books for someone who contributed very little on the pitch #LCFC.

Seems clear to me this is a second-string Leicester XI (although BEK’s involvement is a concern, perhaps hinting at his future…). Fairly low-quality half of football. Hopefully we see more energy in the second half and a stronger performance from this afternoon’s game #LCFC.

Amid all the (valid) criticism and concern surrounding the club, it’s worth highlighting just how much better Leicester’s social media output has been this pre-season. Far more in touch with general fan sentiment, elevated video production, and genuine player insight 👏 #LCFC.

Excited to see Bilal back in a Leicester shirt and Monga get a start. A centre-back pairing of Coady and Faes is very disappointing, though. We should be looking to sell both and prioritising Nelson and Okoli’s game time in pre-season #LCFC.

Realistically, the only thing Leicester are crying out for is a striker. Priority has to be to sell, regardless of incomings. Offloading Vestergaard, Faes, Coady, Kristiansen, Ndidi, Soumaré, BDR, Ayew, Daka is the main focus. Hermansen and El Khannouss for the right price #LCFC.

Per @alex_crook, Cifuentes will sort his own compensation with QPR after leaving the club in June. That frees Leicester up from a financial standpoint, giving them a manager more in keeping with Khun Top’s preferred style of play #LCFC.

Sounds like Martí Cifuentes will be Leicester City’s next manager. Largely happy with that appointment, although how much impact Cifuentes can have with the issues persisting at an operational level remains to be seen #LCFC.
