After BBB passed, I remembered that in 1981, when Congress voted to authorize the US selling the AWACS plane to Saudi Arabia, President Reagan was quoted as saying, “Thank God!” Later Mike Deaver wrote in his autobiography that what the President had actually said, “I feel like.

I just spent a wonderful hour watching “Inside Elections w/ Nathan Gonzales” podcast interview with my long-time dear friend and former competitor, Stu Rothenberg, “A History of Non-partisan Political Analysis.” A fond walk down memory lane. Good times!
