Really feeling it right now - a bunch of stuff didn’t go my way and I’ve been pretty low - but today suddenly inspiration hit. And I was reminded that it’s all a cycle. Hitting the emotional lows is the only reason we’ll find new inspiration that’ll take us higher in the end 🚀🚀

How much should we “pull life forward”? Corporate employees work work work so that they can play in retirement. Indie hackers sacrifice corporate paycheques for a life of (occasional) play in paradise. I’m at 3k MRR but only 2% profit for April. Reinvesting all in biz growth 📈

Hitting $2k MRR is a big milestone in the indie hacker world and yes, I’m excited. But after almost 2 years of full slog at basically flat line MRR, I’m *much* more excited about the feeling I have in my gut now about where this is going ☺️

This is the number one reason you should start a business when you have zero money: having no money means you focus on what sells, not on what you *want* to sell. Big big difference.

New signup this morning is complaining that they never received the password reset email…but I can see from Postmark’s logs that they have received AND opened a number of password reset emails this morning. Anyone ever had this problem?!

Celebrating a milestone! 🥳 When I quit my city job, I was earning more than $10k/month. I never would have thought that reaching $1k MMR would mean so much to me. But after 2yrs of reeeally tough grind as an indie hacker, I am so excited about this. Still scared! But proud ☺️
