Spending my morning spotting this to print a 20X24 (old slides can be a real pain). Sir Mix-a-Lot and Posse on Broadway, 1989. This was my first ever cover shoot fora pub. Man was I nervous... and nearly blew it as more than half of the slides were severely underexposed!

How about an unpublished Nirvana photograph to beat the heat? This and the next night with Mudhoney were the two hottest shows I ever photographed. I had to blow dry the inside of my Nikon body out after coming home. Seattle, COCA 8/26/89. Stay safe out there.

Today is a sad day for me, but also a day to remember who Kurt was, how much he accomplished, and how he touched so many lives. He broke the mold, crumbled it into small, tiny pieces, and then scattered them over the deepest of oceans.
