Just a reminder that great things come from small things done. Take small steps, give yourself little rewards. You've got this!

I spoke with a good friend once who told me how I ought to act and think. They said I ought to be more of one thing and less of another. I considered these words and realized that they might not be my friend at all!

At 20, I found adventure in cliff jumping. At 40, adventure is learning a new language. I didn't lose my sense of adventure, but I have expanded the definition!

Someone recently told me that to talk about difficult experiences was to bring negativity into the world. I disagree. Your scars (physical/mental/emotional) mark what you've overcome. Your current wounds prove you to be a warrior doing battle with the darkness. ❤️ You are mighty.

If it's very painful for you to criticize your friends - you're safe in doing it. But if you take the slightest pleasure in it, that's the time to hold your tongue. 😊 Alice Miller

Lessons from the garden: This is the time of the year to prune. It's time to cut away the old dead wood that no longer bears fruit and to plan a vision for the future. 💡🤔

I bet, if you stretched, it would feel nice. While you’re up, try drinking some water.❤️

My 11-yr-old daughter has a love of wearing odd patters, bright colours and crazy headbands with different types of animal ears. Yesterday we rushed out the door to school and she accidentally wore her housecoat instead of a jacket. No one mentioned it. 😝
