We agree with @Amnesty @AmnestySAsia:. @POTUS & Congress must use US leverage over Pakistan's Asim Munir regime to end US complicity in widespread human rights abuses. US must pause IMET until democratic civilian control of military is established. @TLHumanRights @SenateForeign
The Trump administration and Congress should call on the Pakistani authorities to respect the right to protest, facilitate peaceful assembly, and uphold due process for Imran Khan, PTI party members, and all those detained while exercising their right to freedom of expression.
