A film I've almost never recommended is 12 Angry Men. I think many people cant be bothered to watch one this old, but it's excellent and you should not skip things bcuz they're old.

Watching a video and this guy has said "insane" more than I have in maybe 5 years. learn some new words man.

"But I want it to be the best version it can be". the only way you can accomplish this is to freeze it in time and quit learning. a new VST will release and change the game, you're gonna learn a new trick, etc etc. there is no perfect version.

You can get trapped in fixing an old idea so badly you stop moving forward, when it'd probably be better to use the new info on new things and allow the old versions to exist.

This is just an ongoing war with a backlog and the attempts to learn. I feel like it's important to accept the imperfections, even if I fix things now, I'm gonna learn something later that'd do this again.

Consntantly torn between stopping all releases to rework the masters again or just suck it up and accept the version they were.
