One of the saddest Temple days as we lost the legendary John DiSangro. What is below doesn’t begin to describe what a great human being John was. A truly selfless man and he did it all with a smile. There is no John Chaney without John DiSangro. Now they will be reunited.
Salute to John DiSangro, who kept everything in order during the Chaney era. Donut runs at 4am, ticket requests, travel, housing & everything in between. It takes 10 people today to do what John did alone. Temple isn’t Temple & John Chaney isn’t a HOF coach without John! 🦉 🍒

Coach was never prouder than the day Rasheed Brokenborough graduated on time after the @NCAA made him sit out and lose his first year. They changed the rules on eligibility, in large part, due to Rasheed and Coach. One of the most under appreciated players and people at TU. 💯

One of the all-time greats and a loyal supporter of Temple Basketball. 🦉.
We are saddened by the loss of @TempleUniv legend Bill Mlkvy ’52, who passed away recently. “The Owl Without a Vowel” holds the @NCAA record with 54 straight points scored in a game vs. Wilkes in 1950-51. Our love & thoughts go out to the Mlkvy family & the Owl community.

Recalled this wonderful @KevinNegandhi story + picture today. Devoting hours of his day to a student reporter is something only a @TempleUniv or Philly person could understand. This was a daily occurrence. We loved Coach because he loved all of us. We should all love this way.
