Like every conservative leadership, Iran's leadership makes up stupid & cruel rules. But it's not even close to the stupidity and cruelty of erasing entire ethnicities, colonizing the world, and stealing resources while denying your own citizens basic human dignity.

Western bubble you're in needs to pop. Even if you aren't a nationalist, it's far worse than you think. Iran hasn't even attempted to expand its borders for 600+ years. Outside the bubble, it's not only "US & Israel are terrorist bullies". It's "Iran is THE peaceful nation".

I've lived in 6 countries and visited 50+. By far, Iranian (and Cambodian) people were the nicest, friendliest and the most hospitable. Women were working in plazas, restaurants, hotels. Many weren't wearing headscarves. Unlike US allies like Saudi, Iranian women were driving.

It tells so much about a nation's personality when the enemy they choose is the only country that has not even attempted to expand their borders for 600+ years. Taking its size and power into account, Iran has been the most peaceful nation in the world for centuries.
