First I usually outline / index card. Then work from the ending aka reverse engineering the climax to the beginning as a first draft. Then punch it up during 2nd draft.
When it comes to the first draft of your screenplay, do you go for the vomit draft and look to whittle down in the rewrite, or do you try and make your first draft as short and tight as possible?.

I got one animation short in production with @yenneferdiaz1 . I’m working out three premises for another animation short. Also a possible premise for a feature animation with a peer I’ve known in La for years. 🤞🤞🤞. This career pivot from filmmaking to animation is helping.
