running theory is that these are Archer flashbacks and hinting at how Saber and Kiritsugu are connected? its the same field CG and they didn't quite go into detail how Kiritsugu got Avalon's sheath in Fate Route

i have my criticisms of kоdakas creations (and many of them) but his sincerity as a creator will always buy me back, especially in the era of genai and "shut up and produce content" attitude. hes a good reminder to people in general that behind all art stands a human being
Tbf I actually really like that he played and teased around his dire circumstances like that, it's unprofessional to the typical japanese standard but it's very personal to his fanbase, imo. He's one of the most friendly creators in the industry (despite how people treated him)

before hndr came out I thought kodaka’s “play it or i’ll be broke and homeless” marketing was super unprofessional but after playing it I get it if I wrote all that and nobody bought the damn game I would be suicidal
