Police are investigating a banner from a demonstration outside a Falkirk hotel on Saturday. Around 1,000 people protested outside the Cladhan hotel - raising concerns about the venue being used to house asylum seekers. Two men were arrested during the protest.

All ScotRail services between Stirling and Perth are cancelled, after a person was hit by a train. The operator says train tickets can be used on Stagecoach buses between Stirling and Dunblane. Disruption is expected until around 10am.

Housing minister Mairi McAllan is to meet residents in 30 Tillicoultry flats, who've been out of their homes for nearly two years. Residents on Chapelle Crescent, High Street and Park Street were evacuated after the potentially dangerous RAAC was discovered.

New data shows the average stroke patient in the Forth Valley is waiting nearly two hours for specialist treatment. One in four patients had treatment to remove blood clots within the target time of 30 minutes. NHS Forth Valley say the response time is the quickest in Scotland.

More than one in four A&E patients at Forth Valley Royal Hospital have waited more than eight hours to be admitted, discharged or treated. That's according to figures from Public Health Scotland. 8.5% waited twelve hours or more, in the week ending 10th August.

Plans to save ATMs in Bridge of Allan have been successful - after a campaign to ensure residents have access to cash points. Bank branches in the town have closed down over recent years. The Link Group carried out an evaluation, and says the town needs a free-to-use machine.
