Her recent work includes a study of a vast body of contemporary words recorded by John Jones of Gellilyfdy and the transcription of Thomas Wiliems’ Latin–Welsh dictionary (1604–07). She is Chief Editor of Studia Celtica,.

She has since co-led projects including The Cult of Saints in Wales, Sacred Landscapes of the Medieval Monasteries, and Poetry of Myrddin. Since 2017, she has been Senior Editor of the ‘University of Wales Dictionary’.

and later led the Poets of the Nobility project (1993–2013). In 2007, she secured an AHRC grant to lead a team of researchers to re-edit the works of 15th-century poet Guto’r Glyn, culminating in the bilingual Guto’r Glyn website.
