#CCReview 🧵 #Dhurandhar When a movie is political, the reactions will also be political, so I completely understand the extreme hate and love for this film. Just because we do not politically align with a movie doesn’t mean we can put down a well-made film.

Wrong. Padayappa did roughly 55 crs in 1999. Nearly 32 of it came from TN - record. 2nd highest grosser of all time behind Indian (60 crs).

#VaaVaathiyar which got postponed from Rajini's birthday (12/12) to now release on MGR's final day (24/12), Ironically that is also the day in which Karthi's character is born in the movie. This is a better release date but knowing Pacha, it will again postpone to MGR's birthday

#Dhurandhar is having some mad run at the box office and had an all time record 2nd weekend which was bigger than its first weekend. Film has currently grossed 530 crs, and with this sort of momentum even 1000 crs is not far ahead. As of now looks like a sure shot 800+ grosser.

Loved @kishendas , Shivathmika and Harshath's roles and their acting as well. @kishendas seekram Mani Ratnam illa GVM kuda oru complete romance film panna vaazhthukkal. Perfect urban romance hero.

#Aaromaley For a film which worked superbly in its first 90 mins except for some comedic portions involving VTV ganesh, the last 30 mins could have been more effective. That emotional high was missing at the end. Still a very breezy jolly good watch.

The brain of these folks should be inspected. If SRK can do money laundering for 1000 crs, he can very well make Zero, JHMS do at least 250-300 crs na? 3 years have gone and still they can't digest how SRK revived this dead and buried industry in 2023.
It is called money laundering. No one remembers a song or a dialogue or a scene of Pathaan. Yet it made 1000 crores!

#Padayappa la this actor who played Sithara(Rajini sister)'s husband didn't have a single dialogue and even his name wasn't mentioned as far as I can recall despite being in half the movie in an important role. Bit unlucky, Basically he played the Chandramukhi snake in this movie

This is not possible as Nagavamsi movie with Anudeep - Funky has set April 3 as release date. How will same producer release 2 movies in 2 weeks? Funky had to be pre/postponed for this.

Spend zero money for marketing.. Release Dhurandhar2 when the hype is at its peak on Eid itself would be the best decision.
Moving #Dhurandhar2 to December 2026 may be the best decision for the makers. Looking at the #Dhurandhar storm, the first part itself is expected to have a strong theatrical run until January. After the OTT release, the film will need some breathing space to attract more
