A really sad loss, Lord Lipsey was a tireless advocate for the Wye and his community. This year, he submitted evidence to the Cunliffe inquiry, started a cross party parliamentary group and spoke passionately in the Lords: calling for protection of the river. He will be missed.
We’re shocked & saddened to hear of the death of Lord Lipsey. He was a passionate defender of the Wye and brought together MPs from all parties to discuss ways to restore the river. We send heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
