I don't talk as much about Palestine on this account as I should, usually only when I see Dems do disgusting bullshit like this. Dems dismissive and active actions against Palestine are why everything that is happening now, is happening now.

The state you love is being murdered in broad daylight by politicians who tell you they care but don't do anything.
Rural Macomb Twp, an exurb which is rapidly filling up with oversized, pricy McMansions, is about to make a historic $14M investment into road repairs. They're also channeling Camel Indiana by envisioning a downtown in the middle of a farm field.

And finally a good note to end on. Bike and pedestrian infrastructure are inherently able to be beautiful. Car infrastructure mars our cities. Non-motorized infrastructure doesn't, and I'd rather be somewhere where getting from point a to b is beautiful.

You can also see how confusing areas like this are. This isn't even all the conflicts, just the worst ones! There's also the large red box that gets full of cyclists waiting for the cross, right on the sidewalk. As far as pedestrians and bikes this is as hectic as it gets.

Next up these crossings work. almost. Drivers sometimes stop for you but the very first time I was ever hit by a car happened at Wilson after a driver went around a stopped car. Don't be afraid to make an actual red light guys, they work!

Quick bike thread. MSU has the BEST bike infrastructure in the metro, but we can still learn from mistakes they make. I know this trail connection is new but it highlights how important wayfinding is. Nothing is intuitive about getting between these parts of the trail.

Technically if you subscribe to the Saginaw - Railroad- St Joe - MLK borders of downtown Lansing then the downtown QD is Cedar Saginaw, and the only fast food joint is the Kalamazoo Wendy's.

The problem with making NYC more affordable to live is that if I could afford to live there I'd move there and then I would miss Lansing.
