Great seminar today w/ Prof. @WNicholsonPrice on medical AI governance! Key points: Centralized models don’t fit local needs; humans in the loop are overloaded—but patients want them there. Big hurdles for scaling, esp. in low-resource settings. Thanks Prof. @WNicholsonPrice !

Dr. Ibrahim Kamara argues Africa must lead the fight against antimicrobial resistance through hospital-based stewardship. Read his blog via Inter-CeBIL on AMR & pandemic preparedness from a Global South perspective: #AMR #GlobalHealth.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing global health threat, but its impact is particularly severe in Africa, where resistance infection rates and death are highest.
