In the DRC, although the war is ravaging our indigenous communities, those who have benefited from local peasant seeds are still harvesting. We have seen excellent results for some agricultural cooperatives. The grassroots agro-ecological movement is a solution for post-conflict.

Launch of the 1st seed fair organised by the Congo Basin Conservation Society Network. Maniema province, in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, saw the launch on 15 June of the first seed fair organised in the DRC by the Congo Basin Conservation Society Network.

This year we were given the task of restoring land degraded by cocoa cultivation in the DRC. At least 3 ha have been planted and work is continuing so that within 3 years we will have at least 10 ha of cocoa planted. We would also like to point out that the groundnut. #CBCS
