What is a Deseret Catholic?. One who has pioneer ancestors, and who loves and respects them. Who loved the Book of Mormon. Who loved his mission. Who loved the temple, and got married in it. Who became Catholic without losing his love for the LDS Church or the people of.

Lindsay Graham is right. We will be blessed by God for supporting Israel. Graham thinks Israel is the Jews who rejected Christ. But there is another Israel—the Jews who accepted Christ, and converted the gentiles to worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—The Church.

If America pulls the plug on Israel, God will pull the plug on us. I’m not going to let that happen.

In the Son, by the Holy Spirit, to the Father. How the Catholic Church prays. The whole Church says one unending prayer together. Called the liturgy. Thanks to Father Mike Schmitz for teaching me this.

Celibacy is good and holy. And ancient. And in scripture.

Another “red pill” book that showed me almost everything I thought about celibacy and priesthood as a protestant was wrong—biblically, and historically.

5/5 mere mental assent of Christ’s divinity or mission is not enough. The devils believe, and tremble (James 2:19).

4/5 Through the Eucharist. We consume the body of Christ, that we might be in Him, and He in us (John 6:56). Only the Catholic Church is unified with Christ in this way. All others take it symbolically or without authority.

3/5 Through baptism. In baptism we join His body, the Church. The Catholic Church recognizes most Protestant baptisms, but has recently stopped recognizing LDS baptism.

2/5 Through keeping His commandments. In doing so, we are filled with the love of God. Our bodies become His body, as we do the actions He would do. In this, the LDS excel Protestants and many Catholics.

People upset by LDS Christian superiority cite some doctrine that the LDS get wrong. They’ve reduced Christianity to mere mental assent, as if the Church were another form of civic nationalism. Christ did not merely teach. He gave Himself to us. We receive Him in three ways. 1/5.

LDS > Protestantism. Protestants began in rebellion. LDS, in hope. Protestants tried to purify themselves from error through disunity. They tore Christendom to pieces. LDS grew in the absence of Christendom. Joseph Smith saw that absence, and tried to restore what was missing.
