Fun trail maintenance day on the primary approach to Mount Frissell in Massachusetts and its southwest slope on the state line with Connecticut. At 2,380 feet, the SW slope marks the Constitution State’s highest point. 🏔️👍

Nine years ago today, I made the newspapers. 🏔️🥾 I was expecting back page of the sports section so it was quite a shock to stop at the grocery store after my midnight shift to see I was front page “above the fold” in two local papers. 🤯
